The stance of the Chinese government on the non-proliferation issue is serious, earnest and active, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said at a regular press conference held here Tuesday.
In response to a question, he said the Chinese government has put in place regulations or measures on four aspects: Regulations on Export Control of Missiles and Missile-related Items and Technologies, promulgated in August this year; Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Export Control of Dual-use Biological Agents and Related Equipment and Technologies, promulgated on Oct. 14; a set of revised regulations governing theexport control of military goods, promulgated on Oct. 15; and the Measures of the People's Republic of China on Export Control of Certain Chemicals and Related Equipment and Technologies, promulgated on Oct. 18.
