Ambassador Cheng Attends Australia China Business Council ACT Branch Reception

On August 31´╝îChinese Ambassador CHENG Jingye was invited to give a speech at a reception held by the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) ACT Branch.

Ambassador Cheng stressed the importance of 2016 G20 Summit in Hangzhou and the vigor of Chinese economic performance, highlighted the broad prospects of China Australia bilateral relations, and expressed the hope that ACBC continue to play a positive role in promoting the two-way trade and investment to the benefit of both countries.

ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr also delivered a speech. The event was chaired by Peter Philips, interim chairman of ACBC ACT Branch.
