Notice for China-bound foreign passengers(II)

    The Embassy of China published Notice on China-bound foreign passengers' application of health code on Jan 7 2022. Some adjustments and supplementary instructions are as follows:

    (1)For those who are fully vaccinated with inactivated vaccine:

    Within 48 hours before departure, the passenger should take two nucleic acid tests at two qualified institutions respectively, and the testing address should be shown on the report. If the tests are taken at two different cities, please upload the application to either Embassy or Consulates where the first test is taken.

    (2)For those who are fully vaccinated with non-inactivated vaccines:

    Within 48 hours before departure, the passenger should take one Nucleic Acid and N Protein(IgM) Anti-body test at qualified institutions. At ACT, the test can be taken at Capital Pathology: https://www.capitalpath.com.au/our-locations/

    (3)To make sure that the documents comply with the requirements, passengers with infection history, close contacts or those showing suspected symptoms are strongly suggested to email all the documents to Embassy’s consulate_aus@mfa.gov.cn for pre-checking. The Self-Health Monitoring for 14 days can use the same form as the Statement of Commitment on Personal Health Monitoring (see attached ) and the Email should write with the title as Name- Passengers with infection history/close contacts /showing suspected symptoms. The Embassy will check the documents and notify whether you can start the next step.

    (4)The Statement of Commitment on Personal Health Monitoring is required to upload with other necessary documents when applying for the Electronic Health Declaration Form by logging on the website of http://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/. It is also suggested to take the above-mentioned Statement (printed form) for airline’s checking before boarding.
