On October 18, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai met with Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie who was in China attending the dialogue between provincial and state governors of China and the US. The two sides exchanged opinions on the 19th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting to be held in Hawaii next month as well as China-US relations, the bilateral economic and trade relations and regional cooperation between the two countries.
