Ministry of Foreign Affairs Holds the Launch Ceremony of China Consular Service Website & the Media Briefing on Preventive Consular Protection

On November 22, 2011, the launch ceremony of China consular service website (http://cs.mfa.gov.cn) & the media briefing on preventive consular protection was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao addressed the event and launched the website. Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs Huang Ping introduced the background, main measures and significance of preventive consular protection. Officials of 28 ministries and commissions and provincial and municipal foreign affairs offices as well as business representatives were present. 24 media of mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao made live report.
