Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai Delivers a Speech at the International Conference in Commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Shanghai Communiqué

On February 6, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai attended the International Conference in Commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Shanghai Communiqué hosted by the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies and delivered a speech titled "Firmly Promote the Sino-US Cooperative Partnership". There were 200 participants attending the events including Vice Mayor of Shanghai Tu Guangshao, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State and President of the Institute of Peace Richard Solomon, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State and Dean of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies of the University of Denver Christopher Hill, and other experts and scholars from the two countries. President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies Yang Jiemian presided over the conference.
