As agreed between China and the US, the fourth China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue will be held in Beijing from May 3 to 4. Special representatives of President Hu Jintao, Vice Premier Wang Qishan and State Councillor Dai Bingguo will co-chair the dialogue with special representatives of President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. The two sides will have broad and in-depth exchange of views on further implementing the consensus reached between the two heads of state, promoting China-US cooperative partnership, deepening communication and coordination on macro-economic policies and major international economic issues, enhancing practical cooperation across the board in such fields as business and trade as well as boosting communication on international and regional issues.
