On June 11, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai held talks with Chinese and foreign media on the seventh G20 summit. 21 Chinese and foreign media attended the event, including People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, Phoenix TV, the Associated Press, Reuters, Bloomberg, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, NBC, Financial Times, Japan's Kyodo News and Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao.

After the meeting, Cui received the interview of Hong Kong Economic Times and South China Morning Post.
