The Sixth China International Folk Art Festival will be held in Huangshan City in east China's Anhui Province during the country's week-long national day period this year which begins from October 1.

    Folk art ensembles from 21 countries are expected to perform invarious parts of Huangshan City during the festival.

    An official of the festival's organizing committee said the current session is to comprise the largest number of professional ensembles and artists ever hosted by an international art festivalin China.

    Artists from Anhui Province will stage programs with rich localcultural characteristics to make people around the world have a better understanding of Anhui Culture. Enditem
