BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The use of Taiwan issue by certain countries to interfere into China's internal affairs was "unacceptable", said Li Zhaoxing, spokesman of the annual session of China's top legislature, here Thursday.
Li made the remarks at a press conference at the Great Hall of the people in central Beijing, one day before the third session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) opens.
"At a time when the Chinese people across the Taiwan Strait are carrying out friendly exchanges as brothers, the advanced arms sales to Taiwan by certain country is like handing a dagger to one person when he hugs his friend," Zhao said. "What is the motive?"
