Tibet Issues Protection Regulations on Wildlife

Tibet has just promulgated its regulation on the protection of wildlife, especially the animal species that face the danger of extinction in the region.

The 37-article regulation encourages local residents to protect the wildlife and punishes those who poach on wildlife and endangered species of wild animals.

Fines between hundreds of yuan and tens of thousands of yuan will be levied on those caught poaching or attempting to hunt illegally wild animals.

Those who tip off local animal lovers about any poaching or poaching attempts will be awarded with cash rewards.

Local authorities and animal lovers alike have been making special efforts to protect the local fauna, especially those endangered species of animals.
